Coronavirus: 99 percent of COVID-19 cases are totally harmless?
Trump claimed during a speech Saturday that increased testing has shown that nearly all COVID-19 cases were harmless. Trump said that during a “Salute to America” event on the South Lawn of the White House on Saturday. Is it really? Since Trump is the president of the United States, the most powerful country leader in the world, any words, and opinions of him will impact the world audiences, especially his supporters in the United States.
After inaccurate, wrong speak of disinfectants, hydroxychloroquine and slight on Coronavirus, COVID-19, we have to rethink what he said about the coronavirus pandemic.
Consequently, Stephen Hahn, the commissioner of the Food and Drug Administration, declined Sunday to defend or criticize President Donald Trump’s inaccurate claim that 99 percent of COVID-19 cases “are totally harmless.”
Speaking on CNN’s “State of the Union,” Hahn, a member of the White House coronavirus task force, said he was “not going to get into who’s right and who is wrong” when pressed repeatedly about Trump’s comments Saturday. But he called the virus and recent surge in cases “a serious problem that we have.”
“We must do something to stem the tide,” he said, “and we have this in our power to do it by following the guidance from the White House task force and the CDC.”
“People need to take it seriously,” he added.
No one knows what is Trump’s definition of Harmless of COVID-19 which has 4.57% death rate in the United States.
Let see what are the inaccuracy of Trumps 99% harmless speaking.

4.57% Death Rate of COVID-19
Trump’s claims belie the fact that the death and hospitalization rates for the coronavirus total far more than 1 percent of cases. According to an NBC News tally, there have been more than130,000 COVID-19 deaths in the U.S. out of more than 2.8 million confirmed cases — around 4.57 percent — compounded with hundreds of thousands of hospitalizations.
Trump’s former homeland security adviser Tom Bossert tweeted Sunday that “we are in trouble,” adding that masks alone are “not enough” to stem the spread of infection.
Increased Cases Between Young
Along with the rapid rise in cases across the Sun Belt, which shows a little bit different from what the country saw in March and April, it is found that the confirmed cases are increasing among younger Americans. And hope the government could have new tools to handle outbreaks.
the novel coronavirus is a very rapidly moving epidemic, rapidly moving pandemic, and any death, any case is tragic. The better way is to do everything we can to prevent that, instead of misleading the country and the people during the pandemic.
With the virus surging across much of the South and the West, multiple mayors said Sunday that their cities face dire consequences of unclear guidance from the Trump administration.
More test, more confirmed cases, and more Asymptomatic Patients
As said, the possible of new tools to detect coronavirus in the United States which made it able to test more and more people. Now there are over 40 million people tested, which is a reason of confirmed case rising, and most asymptomatic confirmed as well.
Maybe a reason of “totally harmless” is talking about asymptomatic by misunderstanding. Asymptomatic patient is a bit like a Time Bomb which may be explode at some time, and any one has close contact with him/her may be infected unconsciously. Each asymptomatic would be a spread source before tested and confirmed.
Despite of what Trump said, people have to know What are the hundreds of thousands of infectious people in these states doing right now? Isolating? Are their family members quarantining themselves? How many days does it take for them to notify people with whom they have been in close contact? Are they even notifying others? Because, to contain the second wave, the state government and Trump government obviously need to do more different to what they did before.
And Every one have to take into account that taking good protection, masks, staying at home, keeping safe social distance, is to keep yourself safe, and avoiding take virus back to the family and spread during the closest families. Love yourself, and love your family, it is time to show your love.
