Coronavirus: Reopening and Trump's Making America Great Again
“It is a target, and, obviously, we’re hopeful about that target, but I think it’s just too early to be able to tell that we see light at the end of the tunnel,” Food and Drug Administration Commissioner Stephen Hahn said on ABC News’s “This Week”. Last week, what as discussed most is the president Trump’s decision of Reopening economy and Returning to work by lift lockdown policy progressively. Is whole USA ready? Who knows, but it is have-to of Trump.
Reopening and Returning to work may carry all of president Trump’s fears and dreams since the outbreak of Coronaviurs in America.
In the past 120 years of USA history, there has a total of 19 presidents, only five of whom have not been re-elected, and each had his own reason. Estimated that Trump does not want to be the sixth.
The more days of lockdown and stay-at-home without normal business, the more losses people of America will suffer. And the president Trump himself would and could not want to bear it, and the financial industry, the economy base of the United States would have huge trouble which may be much more serious than 2008 financial crisis.
Despite whatever the president Trump said in the press conferences, what he twittered, and how many times he ascribed responsibility of Coronavirus pandemic in USA to almost every one else like China, Italy, The Democratic Party, Obama, etc, reopening frankly to say is an urgent and have-to choice for USA government.
Cashing to people is not the solution, and the high unemployed number bring dangers to economy and election
As we all know, the United States has passed several bills during this time to pay directly to low-income people in the United States to survive the epidemic. It could have some effect in short term, but it will bring trouble in long term.
First of all, the first danger is very obvious. The number of unemployed in the United States has exceeded 22 million.
If you remember, before the outbreak of the coronavirus, the employment situation in the United States was the best in history, but it changed dramatically in three months. The data is also very scary. As known that the number of unemployed took two years during the 2008 financial crisis to reached 8.6 million. Yes, two years. Three months to 22 million now.
There are two possible explanations. One is that the epidemic is indeed too impactful, leading to large-scale work stoppages; the other one is that many people whose income is only reduced during the outbreak refused and quit to work for the reason of the government’s stimulus plan, the lower the income, the higher the subsidy.
If the former situation is okay, it means that the government is right to bail out the market; if the latter is the case, it is very dangerous. The government originally wanted to save the employment rate by sending money, but now the money has caused the unemployment rate to rise. If it continues, it may produce completely unimaginable results.
And meanwhile, the government has no enough money to support this plan. Most of the money comes from new approved national debt. Therefore, there is a “national debt ceiling”, which needs to be approved by Congress to adjust. It also could be taken as “lower credit limit”. The “credit” is the cornerstone of the entire finance. Trump’s Twitter the day before yesterday, said that the subsidy for loans to small businesses is running out of money.
Therefore, Trump was a bit crazy to reopen the economy during this time, with the worrying about a chain collapse, the company went bankrupt first, and then the economy fell sharply. if the economy really collapsed, he would become the unlucky president of the history.

People are lose patient staying at home
Two reason for America people went to street protest, asking lift lockdown and return to work.
Free is the lifestyle American, Staying at home is not. So, it is difficult to imagine what would happen if restrict American staying at home for more than one month. “My body My choice”, that is the typical thought of American. Bill Gates and Dr. Fauci were threatened to death during the protest, because those people wanted free, not masks and staying at home. It is understandable why the members of “Official On Council to Re-open America” are none of one scientist.
No work, no money. That is another reason for people protest for returning to work. Yes, it is happy to receive the 1200 USD check with Trump’s name signed. But it could not last long, for most of the money have to pay for last month bills, as well as insurance, taxes, and so on. if the situation is not changed, a new financial crisis might be on the way.
As known, in 2008 financial crisis, just about 8% of the people’s had to stop paying the mortgage loans, which led to the collapse of the entire financial market and the evaporation of huge amounts of wealth. Later, many companies that had nothing to do with the mortgage were also impacted and bankrupted.
Now Americans are anxious to return to work because they know the risks, and if they fail, they will go bankrupt. Trump is also anxious because he knows that if he continues this way, the financial risks will be too large to bear for the country and the world.
Reopen America is Necessary, No better choice
It can be seen that after this period of isolation, the growth of the number of confirmed cases in the United States is now beginning to be clearly controlled.
However, according to the meaning of the American scientific community and the Bill Gates Foundation, this period of time is very critical, indicating that national isolation has effect. And with one more month, the number of infections will quickly decline. In a word, long pain is not as good as take the pain early, wait a few more months, and now the reinstatement union is ushering in a new wave of outbreaks. The United States must completely return to normal, and may have to wait until the end of the year, because the vaccine may not be available until the end of the year.
But Americans are in a hurry now. The fact that the number of confirmed cases has stabilized has deepened the consensus between the president and the people and feels that the future of resuming work is bright.
Now returning to work and reopen America are just what almost all the United States needs. It is a necessary to President Trump, the Republican Party, the Trump supporters, most middle classes, and more people in the country. No one wants a problem with the double superposition of the crisis in 2008 and 1929.
