Is it a good time to return to work?
In some countries recently, the government are thinking about start the process of return-to-work for the reason of economy pressure. Because of Coronavirus/COVID-19 outbreak and pandemic, almost all the world are pressed stop button, company and factories closed, school suspend, and people are alerted to stay home. A big increment of unemployment also brings big pressure to the government.
So is it time for returning to work? No one dares to give a positive answer right now. whatever yes or no will bring same risk. Let us see the situation of coronavirus in the two days.
The coronavirus COVID-19 is affecting more than 210 countries and territories around the world and 2 international conveyances. The total confirmed cases are close to 2 million, and confirmed deaths is about 120 thousand. Frankly to say, the situation of coronavirus is hard and tough, and there is a long time for any country and people to be safe to go out, and go to work entirely.
USA governors across the country began laying out plans for getting some people back to work, including rearranging schools and restaurants with fewer desks and tables to allow for social distancing.
In a first, small step toward reopening the country, the Trump administration could relax coronavirus guidelines as early as Wednesday to make it easier for Americans who have been exposed but have no symptoms to return to work, particularly those in essential jobs.
The proposed new guidelines are in the works even as the nation mourns some 13,000 deaths from the virus and grapples with a devastated economy and medical crises from coast to coast. Health experts continue to caution Americans to practice social distancing and to avoid returning to their normal activities. At the same time, though, they are planning for a time when the most serious threat from COVID-19 will be in the country’s rear-view mirror.

Spain allowed some employees to return to work in factories, offices and on construction sites on Monday, as restrictions were eased in non-essential industries amid the coronavirus pandemic.
Sectors deemed “non-essential” were put into temporary “hibernation” on March 30 as confinement measures were tightened.
It comes as Spain reports more encouraging casualty figures and amid cautious optimism that the pandemic may be reaching its peak.
France‘s overall death toll from the coronavirus has risen to nearly 14,400 - but for the fourth day in a row, slightly fewer people were admitted into intensive care.
The French president is expected to announce the lengthening of a country-wide lockdown which began on March 17 and was renewed two weeks later.
Most European countries have imposed lockdowns to various degrees to combat the spread of the potentially deadly COVID-19 virus.
Anyway, for those who have to be back to work during Coronavirus outbreak, the better self protect is much important, such as protective mask, protective clothing, disposal disinfection gloves and washing hands frequently with disinfectant or soap.
Some notes for return-to-work:
- keep safe distance to the others, it is said 1.5m is minimum safe distance.
- Washing hands when back from outside, or touch something from unknown source;
- Ware protective face mask when going out;
- Better not take public transportation.
